• full page, full color ad with up to 5 photo or graphic images per ad*
• minor changes to ads can be made once every month
• $1,000 for 12 months; $750 for 6 months

Banner Ad - Inside Page

• banner ad size: 234 x 60 pixels. This is half a screen wide, the electronic equivalent of an printed display ad 3" wide by .75" high
• ad will appear with no more than 2 other ads (all the same size) on the same page* full color, maximum one photo and one graphic image
• minor changes to ads can be made once every month
• $500 for 12 months; $350 for 6 months; $200 for 3 months

Sales Flyers

• separate page, maximum one photo and one graphic image*. This is a full screen wide and several screens tall, the electronic equivalent of an printed 8.5" x 11" flyer
• maximum publication period is 30 days
• no changes permitted after ad is published
• $350 per ad (20% discount for existing advertisers)

Marketplace Ads

• classified advertising arranged by type of item for sale
• 100 words plus 1 photo or graphic image maximum*
• change to ad within contract period: $50 each change
• $250 for 12 months; $100 for 3 months

Links To Your Web Site

• will appear in Marketplace section*
• $100 for 12 months; $50 for 3 months

Chat Group Sponsorship

• exlusive chat group sponsorship
• sponsor's logo appears at top of chat group page along with banner ad or link to advertiser's web site
• $1,200 for 12 months; $750 for 6 months; $500 for 3 months
• 3 month minimum sponsorship contract length

Advertising Terms and Conditions

Slugs and Salal reserves the right to approve all advertising applications for their suitability, technical compliance and to ensure compliance with all pertinent laws. For all materials provided to Slugs and Salal for publication, it is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure permission has been received to use any words or images for which the advertiser does not hold copyright.

Payment Terms

• 100% due with order placement for all ads except Regional and Section Home Pages
• Regional Home Pages and Section Home Pages are 50% due with order placement, 50% due upon date of on-line publication
• No work will begin on advertisement requests until payment has been received.

Text and photographic image specifications

• We prefer to receive text and pictures on a 3.5 inch Macintosh or IBM PC diskette. We can also accept Zip 100 cartridges.
• Pictures can be in any of the following standard formats (GIF, TIFF, JPEG). If that's not possible we can scan photographs, slides, logos and any high-quality print material.
• Text can be Emailed or faxed if diskette is not suitable.
• Photos, graphic images and other material cannot be returned unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is enclosed or COD return is accepted.

Design work

• Our prices are based on you providing "camera-ready" logos, graphic images and other desired design elements.
• Requests for additional graphic design work will be referred to outside graphics designers for a quote. We'll forward the quote to you; if you proceed, the outside designer will bill you directly.
• You will be sent a proof of each ad (except Marketplace ads and web site links) for copy content approval by E-mail, fax or regular mail, in that order of preference.
