Dream Westcoast Property: The Garden

This property is a dream-come-true for gardeners.

The garden features many raised beds full of easy-care perennials, bulbs and shrubs. The extensive professional stonework on stairs and terraced areas elegantly accentuates the garden. Pathways link several patios or sitting areas making this garden a most pleasant retreat.

Plus no deer! No need for unsightly and expensive fencing to keep the jumpers and their bambies from munching everything in sight like they do most everywhere else on Vancouver Island and the west coast. Deer, for whatever reason, do not come into this area of our village. It makes it a real pleasure -- not a frustration -- to garden here.

Looking down into part of the back garden from the wooded natural area of the property.

With all the perennial and foundation planting, this is a garden where you can do as little or as much gardening as you want. Truly a joy to garden in, or just to behold.
Lower garden features exquisite view plus privacy.

The soil in all flower beds has been completely refurbished to a depth of 1.5 feet in the last two years. All the work's been done!
